A Deeper look at the City of Naperville
As a citizen of Naperville, I can attest to all of the lovely amenities my town has to offer. Features such as the Naperville Riverwalk, Centennial Beach and the multitude of gorgeous forest preserves give the city a flair that sets it apart. My husband and I chose to move to this beautiful City when we decided to start our family. “Why?” you may ask.
Two words, amazing schools. Whether you are looking at Indian Prairie Central Unified School District 204 or Naperville Central Unified School District 203 you cannot go wrong. 203 ranks 34th and 204 ranks 104th out of 779 Illinois school districts according to Schooldigger.com. Did you know we are a college town? That is right! This city is home to North Central College a private liberal arts school located in the Historic District.
The warm community adds to the richness and diversity of life in Naperville. In the downtown area you will find quaint local business shops right alongside high-end, name brand shopping. The restaurant selection will rival anything you can find in Chicago and many of eateries Chicago is known for are found in only one other town. You guessed it, right here. But shopping is not limited to the downtown neighborhood. Enter Route 59. I call this the second downtown Naperville. Here you will find all department stores and home improvement centers you depend on for your daily life. And yes, we do have a Costco! Along with these, are several more restaurant choices. With all there is to pick from you will be certain to find something that fits your mood.
Naperville is a village where commerce thrives. Many companies are either headquartered or have large a presence in our community. Nicor, Office Max, BMO Harris Bank and Con Agra Foods are just a few examples. These companies drive professionals of all types to our city where they can both work and live.
For home buyers in the western suburbs wanting a small-town feel, without losing the convenience of nearby amenities, Naperville, Illinois is a perfect fit.
It is a commuter’s dream with two train stations and several non-stop trains direct to Chicago, as well as, easy access to interstates 88, 294, and 355. There are many options for your daily travel.
As a Naperville Realtor and licensed Naperville Real Estate Agent, I know this town and have helped many buyers in their search for Naperville homes for sale.
